can't breathe...
panic-filled orgy
caress the scent of clammy flesh--
the flavor that keeps you un-whole
feed your babies
milkbones dry with decadence
and rape them before opaque eyes--
eyes of your Father
and his oceans of depression
prozac nation--ironclad oppression

panic-filled orgy
spinning on an axis of defeat
the blue one to make your feet move
the white one to make your pain gold
chase the demons with city punch--
the poison that breeds homeland parasites
green whores of apple pie
spreading your legs for the government
selling your worth for a broad insecurity
welbutrin wealth--break down the door
purchase another enemy

wo. I've been trying to leave a constructive comment for some time but I just can't, because nothing would do it justice. All I can do is woo over certain lines:
"prozac nation"
"green whores of apple pie"

I like how you're never obvious with the lines you write. It gives it a real "come back again later" appeal. Please, continue to fascinate and encourage us to think :)

Just came across this one - great stuff!!! But Im sure u know that already. It sums up many of the other poems of yours, that I read. This one, really being very personal, has a more universal frame of interpretation - which I suppose is why it is your featured deviation.

Great work!

"Let me have men about me that are fat; Sleek-headed men, and such as sleep o'nights: Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look; He thinks too much; such men are dangerous." - William Shakespeare (Julius Cæsar)

Finally! Someone with an original thought and the ability to express it. I love your imagery, very bold. This is a very strong piece. I'd welcome your thoughts on the pieces in my gallery.

"All day I think about it, then at night I say it.
Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing?
I have no idea.
My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that,
and I intend to end up there." -Rumi
